solutions for the implementation of development projects in
the Dominican Republic.

Hidropower project to be carried
out by Corporación Dominicana de
Empresas Estatales –CDEEE- in
Santiago Province, Dom. Rep.
Comprises the construction of
two dams, Sabaneta and Los
Limones; diversion, pressure and
flow tunnels of around 28 Kms.
of extension; installation of
two Pelton-type turbines of 45.6
Mw each one for a total of 91.2
installed capacity.
Annual generation is estimated
in 331 millions of kilovatt-hour.
The project estimated cost is
US$285 millions of which a
market loan of US$ 15 millions,
coming from ABN Amro Bank, will
go to the implementation of a
first fase which includes
engineering, final designs,
environmental impact assessment
and preliminary works |
